Behind the Scenes – the Summer issue photo shoot
Sometimes cover shots require a studio with expensive lights and reflectors, highly paid models and all of their entourage, makeup, hair, wardrobe and catering. Sometimes cover shots require weeks or months of prep, gathering props and growing seeds and sourcing out-of-season items. And then sometimes, cover shots just require finding a small sweet boy (who I conveniently found sitting on my lap), and giving him his very first ice cream cone. Those cover shots? Pure magic.
Here’s a peek behind the scenes of our Summer issue’s cover, with our amazing photographer Tracey Ayton at the helm.
As for our model, he says, “It’s a dirty job, Mama, but someone’s gotta do it. What’s on tap for Fall?”
Actually no, he didn’t learn to say that. He did, though, learn to say more…as in…”mo iff-ay” (more ice cream)!
Live like you mean it,
Tamara

Adorable! Looks like a fun day…we love Tracey and her work! See you at Fieldstone in a few weeks
We ALL had fun! And even more behind the scenes was Finn’s Papa/my husband, who was responsible for giving our model a nice bath after the shoot! He needed it… We sure do love our Traceym what a gem she is.
See you at Fieldstone, Lily!
